RescueOne blustery afternoon, I was strolling along the beach, listening to the boom of the surf and watching the gulls fly against the wind, when I heard, over the roar of the waves, a teeny high thin voice crying "Can someone help me? Please, help me!" Immediately, I stopped and listened, not being one to ignore a lady in distress...if it was a lady. "Help, someone, please help me!" It came again; and to my surprise it seemed to be coming from a tangled pile of kelp just to my left. Being a curious person, I investigated, and hurrying over I nudged it aside with my boot.
